Construction cake to match the cookies! The Mama added some of the birthday boy's construction toys to the cake before the party. Also, the cookie sign toppers in the 2nd picture were added, too. Love it! These went along with the set I posted yesterday. I'm having fun using new stencils that I bought through some good holiday sales. Stencils like the tire tracks or stripes really help speed up decorating and look so even and clean. Which set do you like more, today's or yesterday's? Y'all know how much I love doing Construction sets. Here's another one I made in May that I added some new designs to because I got some new cutters! Also, it's funny that I love making road sign cookies but slightly changing them, like adding a birthday hat while my husband loves transportation and road signs in real life. And he's always low key annoyed with me when I don't make the signs correctly 😂 I'm not sure why this brings me joy but it does 😂 I'm a big fan of making these animal/character head cakes. Minimal fondant use but really kicks up the look of the cake. Also, I'm a big fan of babies named Theodore getting a teddy bear themed party ❤️❤️❤️ This was a big, fun weekend for this family celebrating this new one year old's birthday and Baptism back in April. Swipe through pics to see his Baptism cookies. We were so happy to make these cookies in April to celebrate the YMCA Texas Youth and Government's 75th anniversary. "Youth and Government™, a national YMCA program, empowers students from every corner of the U.S. by giving them the opportunity to learn about—and experience—government policies and methodologies firsthand." What a cool program! Also, I really love decorating Texas cookies. Close-ups! I think blush is one of my new favorite colors to mix. This lovely Baptism set was part of a neighborhood celebration for a cute baby back in April. The family decorated the shared neighborhood space and had a jumpy house and a variety of petits fours for everyone to enjoy. The 2nd picture is the pic the customer sent us (we did not make the cheesecake bites). What a fun idea! I now want to have a party of tiny desserts! Just a reminder that we are only taking orders for Aug 22 or later since we're on summer break. These sets that we'll be posting over the summer are ones that were done in the Spring that we haven't gotten a chance to post. This was actually a spy set that was a joint birthday with the baseball set we posted back in May. I spent a ridiculous amount of time mixing the color for the Top Secret folder. If you held that cookie up to a manila envelope they would exactly match, ha. If you still need some thank yous for teachers and staff or if you need a graduation cookie, we still have a few left! You can order on our website, it's up-to-date with our cookie inventory 👍 Hang in there, folks with school age kids/school staff! We can do it! It's almost summer!
